New Bloomington Police Update

The Bloomington Police Department Summary Report that was written to streamline this daily process will not be fixed for quite some time as the company who maintains our Police System will have to work on fixing this bug.  A work order has been submitted to them, but at this point we are on their timeline, which will be a while.
 
In the meantime, I have attached the part of the report that does run, which is everything except the “narrative/synopsis” portion of the report.  The attachment covers from 5-18-10 at midnight through today at noon, which brings you up to date.  If there is additional public information, such as the narrative/synopsis, that you desire on any of the incidents listed you will need to fill out a Public Access Request form (which I have also attached), write down the Case Numbers that you wish more info on, and send that to us by fax, mail or dropping off during business hours (8a-6p M-F).  Once we have processed your request, we will call you when it is available for you to pick up.  These reports cannot be sent electronically.  (Spot Crime, you will need to provide a self-address, postage-paid envelope for us to return the information to you or a toll free fax number). 
 
Until the software company resolves the issues with the report this is the most convenient process we have available for you.
 
REMINDER:  The lobby will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day and this report will not be run.

Bloomington Police System Update

The Bloomington Police Department has been under going a computer system update. Due to this update, I have not been getting the postings through this process. Once the department has updated the system, I will start posting and get you back with the most up to date activity in the community around you. If all goes well this should happen early this week. Please be patient and things should be back to normal soon.

DECIDED THAT THEY WOULD SEEK A PROTECTIVE ORDER AND MS. HUANG WAS ADVISED

DOOR OF HER VAN, CAUSING IT TO STOP WORKING. IT IS UNKNOWN IF SOMEONE CUT
THE WIRE OR IF IT SIMPLY BROKE. THERE ARE NO KNOWN SUSPECTS. CASE IS
INACTIVE.
